PRESSURE EQUIPMENT DIRECTIVE (2014/68/EU)
Piping and Mechanical Engineering are disciplines in which you never stop learning, but training opportunities are limited. With an extensive, practice oriented training, Dosign Academy meets the market demand for knowledge of and insight into the PED/WBDA. All pressure equipment, piping systems and installations with an allowable pressure of 0.5 bar or higher must comply with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and the Dutch regulations derived from it (WBDA 2016). In recent years, both the PED and the Dutch WBDA have been amended, as a result of which the PED/KvI classification of equipment has changed. This has consequences for both new construction and commissioning, as well as for periodic inspections.
The objective of this module is to provide insight into both the background of the PED and the WBDA, based on the PED itself and the Practical Rules for Pressure Equipment. In addition, the key characteristics of this legislation and regulations are explained using practical examples.
This advanced module is highly suitable for piping designers and engineers, mechanical engineers, process engineers and plant maintenance managers, as well as professionals working in the fields of maintenance, inspection or project management.
Tijdens deze training wordt er ingegaan op het belang van technische materialen
